Cool stuff I’ve recently discovered

Not much to say, but... I just started watching The Office on Netflix "Watch Now" and it is freaking hilarious.  I love it!

And... I just finished reading The Poisonwood Bible and it was an incredible book.  On so many different levels.  I loved it.

Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the
game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.
At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their
names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them
know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

That will be the hard part... finding 8 people who won't be like, "Who the heck is Sarah?"  But anyway...

1)

Uh... this is harder than I thought it would be.  What kind of things am I supposed to list?

1) I am really, really, really bad at directions.  Finding my way places, even if I have been there 500 times.  If something minor in the scenery changes, I am lost.  That is why I love Tomtom.  He is my hero!  Tomtom has the "Ken" Australian voice (although now he also has Yoda, Darth Vader, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Homer Simpson, etc.   Ken is still my favorite).  He can always get me unlost.

2) I read abnormally fast.  In college I don't remember ever finishing a test after someone else.  In fact I would sit there and read the test 5 times after I took it before getting up because I didn't want to draw attention to the fact that I was done.  When someone gives me something to read, I read it 3 times before looking up so they'll believe I really read it.  They still say, "Did you read it?" or "You already read it?"

3) I never "did" jr. high or high school.  Since I was "homeschooled" (or really unschooled, though unintentionally I think) at the time, I started taking jr. college classes at 13.  Eventually, just because I wanted to, I took the CHSPE (California High School Proficiency Exam) to get a diploma at 16.

4) Things with long skinny legs freak me out, like daddy long legs, shrimp, "skeeter eaters", etc.  Normal insects and spiders are not nearly as freaky to me.  I can't handle the idea of eating lobster, shrimp, etc. because they look like bugs.

5) But I love rodents, reptiles, amphibians, etc.

6) I love music, and have a very diverse range of taste from John Michael Talbot to Guns n Roses.  I love Bon Jovi, Josh Groban, Loreena McKennit, Aerosmith, P!nk, Pillar, Third Day, Alanis Morisette...

7) I have the smartest, cutest, coolest and sweetest kids in the universe.

I'm addicted to 24 (the show).

Now I have to figure out who to tag.  I'm sure that most people have been tagged already unless they're fairly new, so... if you have, then either ignore me or do it again.

I tag Ren, the Princess Mom, Milehimama, Mother Crone, hestiahomeschool, and Stephanie.  Ok, not 8 but that's all I can do for now.
